Starting with the concept of “creating light textures,” this wooden chair features surface protection made from PET resin.

PET resin is a type of plastic known for its lightweight, high strength, and high transparency properties, commonly used as raw material for plastic bottles.

After designing the chair's body, a custom-fit protective layer was crafted from PET, much like tailoring a garment.

Applying a folding rule to the PET surface creates a unique light texture.

This process yields a glossy finish unattainable with varnish or paint.
